Am I too old to start training?
Never. We have students starting in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. Martial arts is a personal journey, not a race against 20-year-olds. Whether your goal is weight loss, stress relief, or learning self-defense, our instructors ensure the training is safe and age-appropriate for your body.
I’m not in great shape—should I get Fit beFore I start?

Keep it simple. For your first few sessions, comfortable gym clothes (like a T-shirt and joggers or leggings) are perfectly fine. Once you decide to join permanently, we’ll help you get the official uniform and any necessary gear.
Absolutely. We prioritize a professional, "ego-free" environment. Our adult classes focus on technical mastery and controlled drills rather than aggressive sparring. Safety is our #1 priority, and we ensure all students treat their training partners with respect to keep injuries to a minimum.
No. This is the most common myth in martial arts. Our classes are designed to get you into shape, not require it on day one. You’ll be encouraged to train at your own pace, and you’ll find that your fitness, flexibility, and strength improve naturally as you learn the techniques.
Not at all. The vast majority of our members started as total beginners. Our curriculum is structured to take you from the very basics to advanced levels step-by-step. You’ll be surrounded by supportive classmates and instructors who remember exactly what it was like to be a white belt.
